Koos Du Plessis

Koos has been an admitted Attorney since 1993 and founded Du Plessis & Associates Inc in 1997. Koos is a gifted Mediator and has a keen interest in structuring business and financial solutions.
He has experience in:

Property law: general, developments and project management
Matrimonial matters
Estate planning and liquidation

Transaction structures
Koos obtained his Law degree, BProc, from the University of the Freestate and holds futher post-graduate diplomas in Company Law (RAU), Close Corporation Law (RAU) and Advanced Trust Law (UP). He also completed his MCom in Law (RAU). In January 2012, Koos was accredited as a Mediator by CEDR. This accreditation was endorsed by the Business School of Stellenbosch University and later by (received endorsement) Harvard University as well.
Yvonne Swart
Yvonne Swart joined Du Plessis & Associates Inc during 2002. She is a conveyancing secretary who specialises in the registration of properties. She also oversees the day-to-day responsibilities that originates from a legal profession. She strongly believes in responding to our clients’ questions and needs and to keep all parties informed during a process.
